In May 2024 twenty Bayley Artists and three Bayley Arts Instructors submitted artwork to the ‘Incognito Art Show’ Australia’s biggest and most inclusive art show. These work go on sale in person in Sydney over the weekend of the 13th and 14th of July and then go online for the whole of Australia to view and purchase. By contributing to the Incognito Art Show, Bayley Artists will gain exposure within the art community and further champion our core value of art for all. Ink It up a Printmaking Intiative

In August 2023, Bayley Arts received a community grant from Bayside City Council, marking the beginning of the 'Ink It Up' initiative. ‘Ink It Up’ is a printmaking initiative celebrating the artistic talents of Bayley Artists. Bayley Arts began by purchasing a printing press from Melbourne Etching Supplies.   Professional development for staff and Bayley Artists in printmaking processes began. We held a series of professional development workshops for 10 Bayley arts instructors, in partnership with Adrian Spurr at Boldface Fine Art Print. Plastic Problems Exhibition Opening Night

Plastic Problems, represents the meeting of Bayley artists and environmental activist and artist Carolyn Cardinet and their immersive journey into the devastating environmental impacts of waste and plastic pollution on our beautiful coastal waters and our vulnerable marine life. Works include hanging sculptural forms weaved from found plastics, film, prints, watercolours and installation. The opening evening was a fantastic celebration of the work created.

Celebrating 12 weeks of Bayley Arts

Since our amazing open day on September 9th, Bayley Arts has been non-stop! We've hosted 5 fantastic exhibitions, run 15 incredible evening and weekend classes, and hosted 7 exciting events. Plus, we successfully launched our Bayley Arts NDIS programs with Film making, Textiles, Photography, Wood Work, Painting and much more. We have huge plans for 2024 and can't wait to share what 2024 has in store for us and our community.
