We are incredibly grateful to the Freemasons Foundation, Lodge of Quest, Lodge EOS, Lodge Australia Felix, and Lodge of Concentration for their generous donation to Bayley House.
When Bayley Arts opened, it was clear that evacuating clients in wheelchairs during an emergency would be challenging without the right equipment. With the combined efforts of the four Maroondah District Lodges, along with a generous donation from the Freemasons Foundation, we were able to raise the necessary funds—$10,885 in total—to purchase both manual and electric evacuchairs.
Their support allows us to continue providing exceptional care to our clients. Thanks to their contribution, we’ve been able to purchase evacuchairs for Bayley Arts and provide training for our staff in their safe use. A core group of staff members are now trained to operate both manual and electric evacuchairs, ensuring we can safely assist clients with mobility needs during an emergency evacuation.
Thank you again to all the Lodges for their support of this vital initiative.
