The Emotional Body a Universe within itself

The Emotional Body a Universe within itself

A fascination with cell memory has been a recurring theme in the practice of SAAN. In ' The Emotional Body a Universe within itself ', the artist's tenth solo exhibition, SAAN offers a series of mixed media works focused on emotions and the body. These intricately detailed compositions, mimic the internal cellular microcosm that encompasses our being.

SAAN tapped into various emotional states, including older unprocessed feelings and this informs each piece . With this body of work the artist is inviting the viewer to contemplate their own emotional states and the cellular microcosm of the body that processes them.
