Unique Design: Featuring the stunning collaborative artwork by eight artists exploring textile design together. Artwork created by Bayley Arts Fashion Group. They commenced by discussing and exploring patterns and images found on textiles. The artists then sat communally around a large sheet of paper and selected colours they loved. They then explored shapes and fell into creating interloping circles and organic shape mimicking their own physical gathering around their art. They then layered watered down acrylic paints and line drawing following these patterns. The work was created through spontaneous shared mark making and social connection. All artists involved were excited to see their artwork transposed to textiles and were next involved in the creation of textile artworks and clothing using it.
